Park History

Original House

In 1960 Owners Frances and Conrad purchased their 60 acres and started off by breeding purebred Hereford cattle. Unfortunately for him but fortunately for many campers Conrad was allergic to hay. That quickly ended their farming career. Being travelers themselves, they realized that there were no campgrounds in the area. They researched all they could about the camping business and finally in 1971 Milton Heights Campgrounds Ltd. was opened to the public.
